Communities Will Connect is an initiative that aims to empower digital skills and awaken the spirit of innovation in students between the ages of 10 and 16 years in rural communities in Africa, harness their potentials, and instill a burning desire to pursue careers in Computer Science and Technology that would ultimately lead them to solve real-world problems.
We empower these students in rural communities with tech skills so that they become ethical leaders who would help solve real worlds problem leveraging technology.
Communities Will Connect was founded in October 2019 by visionary Splendour Kalu, who sought to revolutionize the educational landscape in rural communities. With a bold vision to bridge the digital divide, Splendour aimed to introduce students in these areas to the transformative power of digital technology, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Communities Will Connect started in the village of Ohanku in the city of Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
